Essay Advantage is a supplemental course specifically designed for the written portion (Essay and Multistate Performance Test) of the Minnesota Bar Exam. This is especially true because half of your total bar exam score will be determined by how well you answer the six essays and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) question.

Moreover, because each of your bar exam essays and MPT answers will be graded in relation to everyone else's answers, the key to passing the Minnesota Bar Exam is to make your essays stand out as well written and clearly reasoned.

Essay Advantage Can Help You Maximize Those Skills!

Essay Advantage consists of a full day (approximately six hours) of instruction on how to write answers to the various question types featured on the Minnesota Bar Exam. An interactive handout accompanies the lecture and reinforces the skills you will be taught. The program also includes a 500-page book that highlights and reviews the issues that have been tested on the most recent Minnesota Bar Exams. Finally, Essay Advantage students will have the opportunity to submit three assigned essays and receive personalized feedback and encouragement.

How Much Will the Program Cost?
If you register by the early enrollment deadline the cost of the program including three individually critiqued essays is $175.00. After the early enrollment deadline, the price increases to its regular cost of $225.00.

When Is The Program Offered?
Generally, Essay Advantage is offered during the third or fourth week into your bar review course. The delay is essential because you have to review some substantive law before you can productively attempt to learn how to write outstanding essay answers.
