Essay Advantage is a supplemental course specifically designed for the written portion (essay and MPT) of the Ohio Bar Exam. With dramatically declining pass rates in recent years, the ability to write clearly, concisely, and confidently is more important than ever. This is especially true since two-thirds of your total bar exam score (66.7%) will be determined by your performance on the twelve essays and two Multistate Performance Test (MPT) questions.

The Ohio program contains the following:

• One full day (approximately six hours) of instruction on how to write answers to the various question types featured on the Ohio Bar Exam


• An interactive handout to accompany the lecture and to reinforce the skills you will be taught


• A 300-page book highlighting the vast majority of topics and substantive law that has been tested on the Ohio Bar Exam


• Twenty (20) practice essays with expertly written model answers and grading keys for many of the assigned questions (not simply the Ohio Supreme Court released sample student answers as provided in traditional bar review courses)


• A number of carefully selected essay questions that you can answer and submit for individual analysis and critiquing.

How Much Will the Program Cost?
If you register by the early enrollment deadline the cost of the program, including three individually critiqued essays, is $195.00. After the early enrollment deadline, the price increases to its regular cost of $275.00.
